    The short version: We only store your email address, a nickname you
    choose yourself, and your game scores. Your real name is never displayed
    or shared within the game. No ads. No trackers added by us. LinguaaRush
    runs on Google Firebase infrastructure — please see Section 6 for what that means
    for your data.
  

1. Who We Are

LinguaaRush is a language learning game designed to make learning Marathi fun and engaging, particularly for younger learners. We are committed to keeping your experience simple, safe, and private.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect only the minimum information needed to run the game:

Your nickname — a display name you choose yourself when you first set up your profile. This is the only name ever shown to you or other players within the game. Your real name from Google Sign-In is never displayed or stored by us.
Your email address — used for account identification and communication.
Your game scores — used to track your progress and display results.

We do not collect your location, device identifiers, browsing history, behavioral data, or any other personal information beyond what is listed above.

3. How We Use Your Data

Your nickname, email, and scores are stored solely to support your gameplay experience. We do not analyze, sell, share, or monetize this data in any way. Your information will never be shared with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

4. Cookies & Trackers

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, analytics scripts, or any third-party trackers that we have added. Your activity within the game is not monitored or reported to any external analytics or ad service by us.

To run the game, we use only essential cookies and browser storage on your device:

Cookie notice (linguaRush_cookie_notice_dismissed) — remembers that you dismissed our cookie notice.
Getting-started guide (linguaRush_getting_started_dismissed) — remembers that you chose not to see the welcome tips again.
Theme preference (linguaRushTheme in local storage) — saves your light or dark theme choice.
Progress (linguaRush_completed in local storage) — records which difficulty levels you have finished.
Sign-in session — if you sign in with Google or email, Firebase Authentication may set session cookies managed by Google to keep you logged in.

None of the storage listed above is used for advertising or behavioral tracking. Please see Section 6 regarding Google Firebase's role as our infrastructure provider.

5. Advertising

We serve no advertisements of any kind. There are no ad networks, sponsored content, or promotional integrations within LinguaaRush.

6. Data Storage, Security & Third-Party Infrastructure

LinguaaRush is built on Google Firebase, which provides our authentication and data storage infrastructure. As a result, your data passes through Google's cloud servers. While we do not knowingly use Google Analytics or any behavioral tracking tools, Google may collect certain technical and diagnostic data as part of operating their Firebase platform. We do not control this data collection.

We do not integrate any Facebook, Meta, or other third-party analytics, advertising, or social media SDKs into LinguaaRush.

7. Children's Privacy

LinguaaRush is designed with younger learners in mind. We are especially careful about data minimization and do not collect any sensitive information from users of any age. Players are identified within the game solely by a nickname they choose themselves — their real name from Google Sign-In is never displayed to other players or stored by us. If a child is using the game, only their chosen nickname, email (provided by a parent or guardian), and scores are stored — nothing else. We encourage parents and guardians to review Google Firebase's data practices linked in Section 6.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. To do so, simply contact us at the email address below and we will remove your information promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

If we ever update this policy, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We will never introduce data collection practices that contradict this policy without clear notice.
